This incredible picture from the MailOnline shows just why this argument for man-made global warming is just a bunch of garbage.

Try to imagine, if you can, the amount of carbon dioxide, ash, pollutants and other harmful chemicals are inside a cloud so big it can be photographed from space. Mankind just isn’t capable of producing the amount of “greenhouse gases” and other pollutants that Mother Nature has been doing for millenia on end before the time of the dinosaurs. Not even a nuclear bomb can produce that level of destruction.

And yet here we are. The polar ice caps haven’t melted. The sea hasn’t swallowed the land. Huh.

How about that?

Could it be that their secular religion which elevates man far above his actual place in the ecosystem and in the cosmos is responsible for the hysteria? That maybe, even with all of our history and technological advances that we are still small, insignificant blinks in the span of time that Earth has existed? Would that cause the entire Leftist ideology to collapse in on itself if it were forced to admit it?

The answer to all of the above is: yes.

In yet another reminder of how “global warming” has become more religion than science, Al Gore has begun channeling Jerry Falwell over the Myanmar cyclone…

Repent of your carbon-emitting ways or the next storm will be visited upon you, so sayeth Al Gore…Is it too much to ask that he even show the modicum of decency not to use the death of 50,000 people to push his junk science/get-rich-quick scheme?

Don’t answer that….We both already know the answer…

Al “The Science Is Settled” Gore has made himself a career out of being a failed environmental snake oil salesman after being tossed on his can after a career as a failed political snake oil salesman. Much like Enron, you can almost trace the arcing career paths in both arenas: from nearly achieving the pinnacle of each field, he was exposed as an empty shell filling himself only with what he thought it would take for people to like him. And today is the day his failure in enivornmental science really become evident after the latest IPCC release shows that everything Al Gore said about global warming is a complete fabrication.

And who are these people who exposed Al Gore’s deceits? The usual skeptics who alarmists liken to Holocaust deniers for having the nerve to challenge their propaganda? Nope. It’s Al “I’ll Say Whatever It Takes for People to Like Me” Gore’s fellow Nobel winners: IPCC. Ouch…that’s gotta hurt…again…

Amory Levins explains why this whole hysteria over global warming is just so much white noise….Since he’s explained why Al Gore is nothing more than an opportunist, when can we expect the committee to correct their error and award the Nobel to the person who really ended the debate over global warming?

I’m not holding my breath since it’s been a long time since the Nobel Peace Prize actually had anything to do with peace or actual merit. Yassir Arafat was a winner, and Al Gore wins the same week his film was denounced by a British court as being nothing more than yet another piece of political propaganda….

Is this true? Not really. But if George Bush were the head of the European Union, you know that’s how the headline of this story would read.

But there’s no denying the essential truth of the story: those holier-than-thou Europeans who trash Bush for following Bill Clinton’s example and ignoring the Kyoto Treaty haven’t a chance of meeting their own obligations - and never intended to.

The Kyoto Treaty was always intended as a tool to slow down the U.S. economic juggernaut under the pretense of controlling greenhouse gases. The signers knew that they would never meet their own emissions obligations, but they hoped that American businesses would be forced to spend themselves silly trying meet ours. The intent was to improve the competitive positions of Asian and European companies vis a vis American firms by saddling them with the onerous cost of attempting to achieve impossible emissions goals.

Even Bill Clinton rejected this horrible idea and the Senate defeated it 95-0, but because hating Bush is a way of life not a course of reason: it’s Bush who gets the blame even though Kyoto essentially had been tossed in the wastecan before he ever took office.

It just goes to show that, like so much of the criticism that has been levelled at Bush specifically, and Republicans, in general, - especially where the environment is concerned - has just been so much political smoke…
